Broken explores the art of kintsugi—the Japanese practice of repairing what is broken and embracing the beauty of its imperfections. The show begins with admiration of the whole, before moving through fracture, anger, and acceptance. Piece by piece, what was broken is rebuilt into something new, transformed rather than restored.
