Andrew McAfee

Andrew McAfee is an educator and composer from Southern California whose work bridges performance, design, and education. He earned his Bachelor of Music at California State University, Long Beach, and a Master of Music at Indiana University.

For twenty years, Andrew has been shaping the sound and design of competitive ensembles across Southern California and Indiana. As the founder of Pedal Point, he has created productions for schools and independent organizations that consistently push performers and audiences alike.

Currently, Andrew teaches with Broken City, Arcadia High School, La Cañada High School, and Upland High School, where his blend of artistry and instruction continues to inspire the next generation of musicians.
